BOXING champ Tim Tszyu was rushed to hospital after a shock dog attack that plunges his world title fight into jeopardy.
His right arm was seriously wounded with a deep cut, according to reports, just weeks before he defends his crown.
Tszyu was savaged by a dog in a shock attackTszyu is booked in to fight Mexican warrior Carlos Ocampo at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
It is unclear if the 28-year-old owned the animal involved.
But it is thought Tsyzu’s fight will be severely impacted by his horror injury.
However, his manager, Glen Jennings, said in a statement: “The wound was superficial. -surgical report is all good.
“There is no doubt that Tim will be ready and 100 per cent healthy and focused to take on Carlos Ocampo on June 18.”
