Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s honeymoon hasn’t exactly got off to the dreamiest start.
In fact, they’re actually flying through more countries in 24 hours than most of us will all year.
The Made in Chelsea lovebirds tied the knot recently with not one, but two ceremonies.
In April they wed in a small Chelsea Registry Office ceremony, before jetting off to Spain earlier this month for a lavish second do with all their friends and family.
Of course, now they want to chill out on their honeymoon and celebrate their marriage… but it’ll be a while before they get there.
Taking to his Instagram Story on Monday (May 29), Jamie, 34, explained that he and Sophie, 29, experienced a series of delayed flights that threw everything (quite literally) up in the air.
It all started so well for Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo… (Picture: Instagram) But things quickly went south (Picture: Instagram) Oh dear (Picture: Instagram)He started by sharing an excited post, capturing new wife Sophie in the car and writing: ‘And we’re off on honeymoon!!!!’
But it wasn’t long before things got chaotic.
He later wrote: ‘This is WILD… We’re flying on our honeymoon to South America, connecting flight in Amsterdam.
‘KLM are delayed but we still have time to make our flight. Without warning, they take us off the connecting flight…’
He continued: ‘So now we have to fly back to London, then fly to Colombia, then fly to Panama and then fly to our honeymoon destination.’
Jamie was not happy.
‘This is a TOTAL F**K UP’, he declared, tagging his airline.
Poor Jamie! (Picture: Instagram) Hopefully the newlyweds can enjoy their honeymoon properly soon! (Picture: Instagram)He added that ‘this means Sophie and I will visit 4 different countries in the space of 24hrs.’
Jamie later posted a video of himself from inside the airport, laughing off the epic mishap but also appearing very stressed.
‘London, to Amsterdam, missed the connection for whatever reason, being flown back to London because the airline sucks, now the flight back to London is delayed, then we have to get a flight from London to Bogata, then Bogata to Colombia then to Panama, then Panama onwards again.’
We’re exhausted just hearing all of that!
