The Premier League is the most watched football league on the planet and one of the most iconic brands in the world.

The league boasts an array of superstar players, from Erling Haaland to Mohamed Salah, while the managerial ranks include the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.
And so it is no surprise that the stars of the show – the players and the managers – are paid handsomely for their efforts.
But exactly how much do they earn? Let’s take a look.
How much do Premier League players earn?
According to Statista, Premier League clubs are paying their players an average of £2.87m pounds per year.
This equates to an average weekly salary of around £55,000 for players.

Manchester City and Chelsea players have the next highest average salaries with £6.79m, ahead of Liverpool (£5.25m), Tottenham (£3.75m) and Arsenal (£3.56m).
Leeds and Brentford players receive the lowest average salaries with £640,000 per year, just slightly less than Brighton (£1.13m), Bournemouth (£1.08m) and Nottingham Forest (£960,000).
Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is the best paid player in the Premier League with £400,000 a week, ahead of Etihad teammate Haaland and Manchester United’s David De Gea who both earn £375,000.
Salah and Jadon Sancho both walk away with £350,000 per year at Liverpool and United respectively.

How much do Premier League managers earn?
Just like with the players, the salaries earnt by Premier League managers varies from club to club.
According to The Sun, Guardiola is the highest earning manager in the league, earning £19m per year to take charge at Manchester City.

Graham Potter is reportedly paid £10m at Chelsea, just ahead of Erik ten Hag (£9m) and Mikel Arteta (£8.3m).
At the lower end, Thomas Frank and Steve Cooper are thought to take home around £1.5m per year at Brentford and Nottingham Forest respectively.
